This is a blog entry about the the TED talk 'Are droids taking our jobs?' by Andrew McAfee.
After I finished watching Andrew's TED talk 'Are droids taking our jobs?' I came to the conclusion that I agree whit him.
I do think that droids and robots are going to take some of our jobs, but i don't think that's a bad thing.
When droids, robots or computer take some of our jobs we need to focus
on the jobs where they can't replace a human, like in design,
architecture or anything involving creativity.
It will also open up opportunities for new jobs like maintenance and mechanical repair.
In the TED talk Andrew is saying that he is confident that the digital technologies that we're developing now are going to take us to a utopian future, not a dystopian future, and i really believe that. I think that this will help and push us to develop new things, and these things will then help us to create a better world.
I think that this development will be a challenge but I believe that we will pull it off.

Some thoughts on Facebook
I'm have been using Facebook for 5 years and at the beginning had a profile with as much information as possible, my phone number, email address, which town i lived in, name of the street i lived on, my birth dates and so on.
But after a while I realized that i did not want to share all this information with people I've never met, so i decided to change my settings so that only my friends where allowed to see my information, but as Jessica Elgot wrote in her the article 'From relationships to revolutions: seven ways Facebook has changed the world', Facebook has changed the definition of “friend”.
A friend on Facebook can be a person you knew 5 years ago or a person you met at the bar, on Facebook you cant place them in different groups, on Facebook there's no difference between them.
So i decided to change my settings once again so that only i can see my information.
Do i really want to share anything on Facebook?
Now I don't even check my Facebook wall, I only use it for the messenger function.
Do you think I should delete my account?
